At Sound Speech & Hearing, Teachers of the Deaf provide in-person and virtual services to students and staff.  School contracts are estabilished to provide Consultation and Direct Services to students with hearing loss who use Listening and Spoken Language as their primary mode of communication.  

 

• All-Team inservices 

• Consultation to teachers and Direct Service to students

• Functional acoustic assessment of the classroom

• Recommendations for HAT systems and specific accommodations

• Preteaching and Reteaching of the academic material

• Quarterly progress assessments

 

Sound Speech & Hearing provides services to schools in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Florida.  Teacher of the Deaf services are available to school districts in MA.
